Why I built Playi.

A PM who got tired of coaching the wrong things.

I built Playi because I kept seeing the same problem from the inside.

Working as a Product Manager at one of the UK's largest Facilities Management companies, I spent three years helping the sales team differentiate on technology bids. Complex B2B deals, long cycles, big contracts. And every time, the same situation: no consistent playbook, no visibility into what was actually working, and no way to learn from the reps who kept closing when everyone else wasn't.

Managers coached harder. The same issues came up in review after review. But nobody was asking the harder question: what if the playbook itself was wrong?

That is what Playi answers. Not just whether reps are following the methodology, but whether the methodology deserves to be followed. When your best closers consistently skip a step and still win, that is data. Playi surfaces it, analyses it, and proposes exactly what to change.

I am a Canadian who moved to London three years ago. Before product management I spent time in PropTech, which gave me a front-row seat to how technology gets sold into enterprises that were not built for it. That context shapes how I think about Playi. Outside of building, I am an avid road cyclist. I do my best thinking on long rides.
